We have identified a potential issue with the locking mechanism of the carabiners used in the Skywalker Pro Via Ferrata and the Skywalker Pro Turn Via Ferrata Sets, sold since 2023. As a result, we have decided to recall all potentially affected products and refund all impacted clients.
The must-have package for beginners as well as advanced climbers seeking a higher level of safety. The Smarter ensures additional safety for the Smart 2.0 belay device and locks to prevent falls even in the event of incorrect use (for example, if the braking hand is held in the wrong position above the belay device). The safety gate prevents the Smart HMS carabiner from twisting in the belay loop of the climbing harness.

The lightweight 80 grams Smart 2.0 is easy to operate and has no moving parts or levers.
As it operates according to the tube principle, the Smart 2.0 is therefore suitable for both lead climbing and top rope climbing.
