There are so many beautiful places to discover and I would like to go on a longer trip one day.
The Bernese Oberland in general and Gimmelwald in particular for harder climbing routes.
My first World Cup win in Villars-sur-Ollon in 2019. Everything just fell into place and it was incredible to be able to experience this victory in front of a home crowd.
My brother Remo. He is extremely enthusiastic about everything he does and has a huge amount of energy and motivation. I spent many hours training with him and that always pushed me.
Climbing is enormously varied and there is always something new to discover. Every route is different and every day I learn something new. I love the combination of strength, technique, endurance, and tactics.
You will always experience ups and downs, but that is what makes the whole journey so exciting. It's worth sticking with something and continuing to fight, even when things aren't going so well.
Climbing has so much to offer everyone and there are so many different types of climbing to discover. Try out different things and follow your heart.
I would like to finish my physics degree, which I have currently put on hold.
Don't you get bored when you're just climbing and don't you need any distractions? Climbing never gets boring. In the evening after training, I'm also just happy not having to do anything and being able to relax and get enough sleep.
Enjoy the beautiful moments out in the mountains, but make sure that nature doesn't suffer as a result. Many future generations will want to enjoy it too.
