A professional ski racer – and I became one for real. Also, I wanted to be just outside and doing something in nature, so my current jobs really suit me pretty well.
Hard to choose one because there are so many beautiful moments in the mountains while skiing, skitouring, climbing, hiking... But I like thinking about my first multipitches I climbed in the Dolomites, it was just so much fun and that made me really happy. Also cycling around the Mont Blanc with over 8.000 m+ in two days was incredible.
Moments that I definitely don't like are the injuries I've had. But they still make you think more intensely about the beautiful moments and give you the fire to take even more care of your body and increase the excitement doing all these things again when you´re recovered.
The freedom, the excitement, the personal challenge. Experiencing new places, yourself and all the feelings you get in sports. All in all it's the pure happiness doing my sports!
It's about the process itself and not always about reaching the top. There are always ups and downs but you learn that keeping up with it and working on your mindset makes a huge difference in every way.
