Terms and Conditions of User-Generated Content on Instagram
Thank you for considering sharing your content with Mammut! By responding to our request to share your content with the hashtag #YESMammut, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions regarding the use of your photo or video or any other content generated by you (UGC- User Generated Content).Â
By granting us permission to use your content by responding with #YESMammut, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.Â
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not provide permission for your content to be shared by Mammut.Â
When you agree to allow Mammut to use your UGC, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, license to use, reproduce, display, publish, and create derivative works from the content you share with us, on any of our platforms, including but not limited to:Â
Our official Instagram account @mammutÂ
Our website www.mammut.com ↗Â
Marketing materials, including email campaigns, advertisements, newsletters, and presentationsÂ
Any other media, whether now known or hereafter created, for the purpose of marketing, advertising, and promoting Mammut and its products.Â
You represent and warrant that:Â
You own or have the necessary rights to the content you provide to us.Â
Your content does not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights (e.g., trademarks, copyrights) or violate any applicable laws.Â
You have permission from any individuals appearing in your content to grant the rights described in these Terms and Conditions.Â
You retain ownership of the content you share, and nothing in these Terms transfers ownership to Mammut.Â
By agreeing to these Terms, you acknowledge that you will not receive any monetary compensation or any form of payment for granting Mammut the right to use your content. Your participation is entirely voluntary.Â
Mammut reserves the right to:Â
Edit or modify your content for clarity, formatting, or suitability for marketing purposes (e.g., adding text, cropping images).Â
Remove your content at any time from any platform where it has been published.Â
If, at any time, you wish to revoke the rights granted to Mammut for the use of your content, you may request the removal of your content by contacting us at privacy@mammut.com. We will make reasonable efforts to remove your content from our platforms, but please be aware that removal may not be possible for all types of media (e.g., printed materials, previously distributed digital marketing campaigns).Â
Mammut is not responsible for any damages or claims arising from the use of your content as permitted by these Terms. By agreeing to these Terms, you waive any right to pursue any claims against Mammut for the use of your content.Â
By agreeing to allow Mammut to use your User-Generated Content (UGC) from Instagram, you consent to our collection of certain personal information, including your Instagram username, profile image, and any content you provide (such as photos, videos, captions, or other identifiable information). The personal information we collect will be used for the purposes described in the 2. Content Usage section of these Terms & Conditions.Â
We may share your personal information with third-party service providers who assist us with our marketing efforts. These third parties are required to protect your personal information and use it only as instructed by us. Your personal data may be transferred to third countries. We will take appropriate steps to ensure that it remains protected in accordance with applicable privacy laws.Â
We will retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in these Terms and Conditions. If you wish to withdraw your consent and request the removal of your UGC, please contact us at privacy@mammut.com.Â
