Avalanche Training

Freeriders, backcountry skiers, snowshoe travelers or anybody else interested can now practice the correct use of avalanche transceivers under close-to-realistic conditions! The training system is self-explanatory.

Several avalanche transmitters are buried at varying depths within a defined training area. Thanks to their enormous battery life, they can be left in the snow for the entire winter. The transmitters are activated from a control unit via RF signal.
As in the case of an avalanche, those on the training course do not know where the transmitter is. The electronic system also means that it is possible to activate one or more transmitters on a random basis. Unlike in reality, the transmitters are not excavated after precise location. The final location takes place using an avalanche probe. The transmitters are in plastic containers with defined sensor areas and a system for automatic feedback in the event of location.
