Start your Mammut journey
Inspiring love for mountains
From the day we started in 1862, we’ve been committed to inspiring and enabling people to experience the mountains for themselves. Over 100 years later, that mission has grown into something much bigger – helping our community to Rise with the Mountain. From the mental and physical growth of our athletes to the journey towards a more resource-friendly way to live, this is the adventure of a lifetime. Are you in?Â
A culture of challenge-seekers
As skilled as we are at adapting to our environment (we are mountaineers, after all), we stick to three crucial values that guide our decisions, our designs, and our day-to-day – every day.
Act as adventurers
Be curious, pragmatic, adaptable.
Act as entrepreneurs
See opportunity, take ownership, drive results.
Act as a rope team
Be open-minded, embrace conflict, focus on the best solution.
Together, anything is possible
Become a part of our rope team and climb your next summit with Mammut. Watch our video to hear stories from basecamp. Â

Achieve your goals with our internal and external programmes for professional and personal development.Â
Enjoy internal global events such as Mammut Spirit Day (our day in the mountains).Â
“For all of us at Mammut, there is a deep love for mountains. Every day we see how climate change impacts the mountain environment, and as a business, we feel it is critical for us to act as thought leaders and use our position to encourage change.”
Grow beyond yourself

Not at all. Fitness level, skillset, and enthusiasm for mountain sports varies greatly among our employees. But what we all have in common is that we love spending time outdoors in nature – especially in the mountains.Â
All Mammut employees benefit from a hybrid workspace with the possibility to work up to 50% per month from home. However, 100% remote working is not possible.Â
Once you send your application in, it will be reviewed by our HR department and the relevant line manager. You will then receive feedback within 14 days.
If we think you're a good fit for the role, an initial interview will take place via Teams with someone from HR and the line manager.Â
If that goes well and both parties decide to move forward, the next step will be a face-to-face interview at headquarters. This will allow you to get to know the working environment and your colleagues. Depending on the role, this step may also include a case study, which can be prepared in advance or on-site. You’ll receive more details when we organize the second interview.
After the second interview, the line manager decides who is the best fit. The recruitment process ends with the second on-site interview.
As our corporate language is English, a good written and spoken command of English is required for employment in all areas except our stores. In the stores, a good knowledge of German will suffice.
If you encounter any problems submitting your application, just contact our HR team by email (jobs-ch@mammut.com ↗) – they’ll be happy to help you. However, please note that we don’t accept open applications outside of a specific job posting to this email address.
Submit your application in the language in which the advert was written (DE or ENG). However, if you do not have any German skills, you may submit your application in English.
